The Guest Quarters is located in the historic residential district. Just a few blocks away is the "Depot District". This depot area was the site of the on location 1965 filming of "This Property Is Condemned"- a love story set in 1930 Dodson, Mississippi starring Natalie Wood and Robert Redford.

The Guest Quarters features an open living area with a full sleeper sofa, a kitchen with counter for casual dining, and dining table for four.

It has a fully equipped kitchen including dishes for eight, stainless flatware for eight, cooking utensils, cookware, and barware. There is a refrigerator, a gas stove, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washer and dryer. Small appliances include a coffeemaker, a toaster, and a crockpot.

There is a writing desk with excellent lighting and Wi-Fi access, a flatscreen TV with expanded cable channels, a DVD player, and an alarm/safety system included. Games, puzzles, and DVDs are available.

The bedroom has a queen size bed with large closets. There is a safety ladder in the closet for an emergency.

The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. There is a private water closet in the bathroom.

The balcony overlooking the pool is perfect for morning coffee or an evening beverage. There is a Weber charcoal grill for outdoor cooking needs.  The french doors and many windows give inviting views all around. The guest quarters is almost like being in a treehouse.

There are four bicycles under the carport available for guests to use during their stay. We also have four-seat electric golf carts available to rent during your stay. Golf cart rentals must be arranged in advance of your stay.

*Please note this is 'The Guest Quarters' and there is also another accommodation in the downstairs, 'Main House', listed separately. 'La Petite Cachette' is a completely restored barge board historic private home.
